For the Buddhist faith, all life is precious so pest extermination wasn’t what our Hampshire-based client wanted.
We were initially contacted because of our policy of bee nest removal & relocation. Here a colony of bees had gained access via weathered timber cladding, which is quite a common form of entrance used by bees in similar property types found in Hampshire.
Whilst it is not always possible to relocate a bee’s nest, we are happy to say this relocation was successful and the nest is thriving in a location more suitable to bees and humans.
As is quite often the case we were asked to perform an additional service while at our client’s home and in this instance mice were gaining access to the property.
So work was undertaken to prevent the mice from getting in, and this included providing new cement pointing and fitting a mouse proof door seal.
Other entry points for the mice included three extremely vintage air bricks, this was resolved with the fitting of rodent proof air plates.
